We chose three surfaces to run on.
We measured out exactly a mile on all three surfaces we ran on.
We had someone else time us while we were running the mile.
When we finished we had my friend stop timing us.
We ran twice on each surface to be the most consistent. Our results show that running indoors on turf is faster and more efficient. This is because indoors is warmer in the winter than outside. So for this reason we had less trouble pushing ourselves. While we were in the cold outside on the track and earth it was cold and we froze quicker and had to worry more about being warm while running, but when we were inside we just worried about our running. This shows that weather can really affect your time it takes to finish a mile or any other distance. surface also affects it too. In conclusion running on indoor turf is the fastest way to run.
